On 16 November 2002, I ordered several small pieces of statuary from your Fall 2002 sales catalog: Child with Rabbit (#097444), Sleeping Cat (#097118), and Swan (#097203).
On 3 December 2002, UPS delivered my insured package. I opened the cartons to examine the collector’s items. Two of the statues were in excellent condition, but the third, Child with Rabbit, was not. The glaze on the rabbit and the base was streaked and irregularly colored. These flaws in the finish are disappointing, especially since that piece alone cost $54.
I immediately called the service number listed on the invoice. Your representative instructed me to repack the statue and return it for a replacement. I did so on the next day—4 December 2002—enclosing a photocopy of the invoice (#1784229). More than 4 months have passed, and I have yet to receive my replacement statue of Child with Rabbit.
